Our Mission to Empower Teens    Â
In 2020, The Route 87 Community Teen Center was created and dedicated to providing a positive, inclusive environment for all teens to thrive. The Gila County Board of Supervisors and Gila County Probation made this happen. Our mission is to foster education, health, and personal development in a fun, welcoming atmosphere where young people can feel empowered and supported. We are proud to be a free resource for teens in the Payson area and surrounding communities.Â

 Building Confidence and Skills
We believe in the strength of community and the potential of every teen. Through our various programs and workshops, we help young people gain the skills they need to succeed in school, in life, and in their careers. Our goal is to create a space where teens can build confidence, form lasting relationships, and develop into engaged, informed individuals. Virtual Reality Headsets, Mock interviews and knowledgeable guests are one way we give back.Â
